Welcome June...and welcome the June Challenge: 'Natasha' Strawberry Romanoff Cake

What says summer like fresh strawberries? And what woman doesn't like watching a movie with a strong female character? In honor of strawberries, and Chef Rosie's birthday month...and a June Challenge...and NATASHA ROMANOFF aka Avengers Black Widow, we have decided to make a variation of the classic Strawberry Romanoff which was a dessert created in England by the 'Father of baking' Chef Escoffier.

Strawberry Romanoff is created using strawberries, Grand Marnier liquor, heavy cream and some other simple ingredients. It is refreshing, decadent, and very easily put together. (In its original form.)

However Michelle and Chef Rosie are putting their own spin on this, and will turn this classic dessert in to a cake this June. What will happen? Is the cake going to crumble? Will the strawberries hold up? Stay tuned.
